Photographers aged 8-18 from across the Wellington region are invited to take part in the Nōku te Ao Capital E Young Photographers Competition.

Kelly Sports - Spring into action - note starts Monday 13 October
This weekly programme gives children the skills and confidence in a fun and enjoyable environment. It also encourages their enthusiasm for sport and the life skills that such involvement brings, Giving them the confidence to join sports clubs and teams in the future. We cater for everyone from 5 years and up - whether they're interested in fitness, fun or competition.
If you want to join, but you're unsure about a whole season, we also offer quarter-season registrations for October to December.

Extracurricular activities
Mana Music Centre
Mana Music Centre operates after school Wednesdays and Thursdays at Discovery School, Whitby and on Saturday mornings at Maraeroa School, Cannons Creek. We offer low-cost music lessons designed to give primary age students (up to Year 8) an affordable opportunity to try out music - $25 per term.

Please note that our keyboard and guitar lessons have a minimum age requirement of 8 years. Lessons for 5 to 7 year olds are only available at Maraeroa School: Music Appreciation for 5 to 6 year olds and ukulele, or recorder, for 7 year olds. The following lessons are also offered at Maraeroa School: violin, flute, piano/keyboard and guitar.
Arty Farty Kids Term 4 Art Classes are now open!
Your Arty Farty Kid will learn - drawing skills colour theory painting techniques by an experienced Art Teacher & Fully Qualified Primary School Teacher. Your child will create high quality art in a fun, safe & welcoming environment.
Term 4 sessions start on Saturday,18th October and are as follows -
