I am from the Far North but I grew up in Auckland and now live in Whitby with my family.

I have four tamariki, two big boys who live in Melbourne Australia with their partners and two girls.  Meri is a Year 8, and Stella is a Year 5 and both attend Discovery Kura.  I also have my Hubby Rob Thompson who works in the Transport Industry and is also mad about Rugby League and watches it religiously, Up The Wahs!!!!!

Both my girls enjoy playing sports; Netball, Flag and Rugby League just to name a few.  

I myself have been studying Te Reo Māori for the last two years and have just graduated gaining my certificate in  Level 3 & 4 from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

I am happy to be able to tautoko te kura by being your new Māori Representative, and look forward to what this space may bring for all of us together.
