School Zone Information

All students who live within the home zone described below, and shown on the zone map shall be entitled to enrol at the school. 

The northern boundary would start at the bottom of Bosun Terrace, running along (and including) Bosun Terrace and Spinnaker Drive, down Spinnaker Drive to SH58 and east along SH58 to a point in between the Portage and Sanctuary Point. 

Then south to Joseph Banks Drive (inclusive number 35) and along (and including) Samwell Drive to Navigation Drive (number 51). 

Then south along Navigation Drive, south of Albatross Close to the corner of James Cook Drive and Discovery Drive. The southern boundary continues around (and including) Barque Crescent to the Whitby College. 

Then around the Tennis Club to Companion Way and south to the proposed road between Omapere Street and Discovery Drive.  East along this road to the road connecting with Postgate Drive.  North along Postgate Drive to (and including) Ensign Place and north along (and including) Leeward Drive to the bottom of Bosun Terrace. 

Proof of residence within the home zone will be required. 

Each year,  applications for enrolment in the following year from in-zone students may be sought by a date which will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.  This will enable the Board to assess the number of places which can be made available to students who live outside the home zone.
