How to Enrol

• 1. The first step to enrolment is to check that you live in our school zone.  Out of Zone applications for 2024 year are CLOSED. The board will decide on the 2025 Out of Zone applications in September of 2024, information will be listed on our website.

  2. If you wish, contact the office to arrange a time for a school tour, to meet with the Principal and find out what Discovery School has to offer your child.

  3. Children are eligible to attend school on or after their fifth birthday.  You may enrol your child as soon as they turn 4 years. In order to implement an effective transition for your child it would be ideal to receive the enrolment a term or more before their starting date. Enrolments after this time are still very welcome. 

  4. Once you have confirmed your child will be attending Discovery School please complete the online enrolment form, link below.

     • Please ensure you have digital copies of the following before you proceed: 

       • Proof of address, copy of a utility bill.

       • child's birth certificate, or passport

       • Immunisation records 

       • Visa (if applicable)

       • Completed Medication agreement (see attachment below)

  5. Our enrolments officer will email you to confirm receipt of your application, and to let you know what happens next.

  6. The school will contact you prior to your child’s starting date to organise transition visits into your child’s class.
